Dream
Recommendation – How to read the words in the New Dictionary:
A word is a vessel through which essence, energy passes. The word is never the thing itself.
What is the real “thing”? It is good to answer this question in silence.
Therefore the invitation to this dictionary is “tricky”; it seems like it tries to replace one “definition” with another “definition” but it does not. This dictionary is an opportunity to look at a word from a different perspective than we are used to. And ask what is the essence of this word, coming from the mystery? From nature? From the inconceivable knowing that everything is one, everything is motion and I am a part of it?
From here you will find that the new “definition” sometimes sounds poetic or even irritating to the mind, because it cannot understand it. It’s OK. Let the words be a tool and listen to the energy that passes through them. That’s exactly what we came here to do.
Coming out of the knowing that everything is connected and everything is in motion:
A dream is our way of talking to ourselves. It is an expression of voices that we have created or have heard in a higher dimension or gentler frequency, but that we might not hear as clearly within the vibrations of our daily lives or in the more mundane dimensions of the mind. We access it from a dimension in which there is no separation, there are no sides, there are no opposites, there is no danger. Dreaming is beauty and love that emerge when we give ourselves over to the motion of the universe and move forward from there.
The reality created: We can experience an immense range of sounds. Dreams awaken in us melodies, colors, emotions, smells, tastes and movements that we didn’t even know were in us. By responding to the dream, we get closer to ourselves and become what we truly are.
“The mind, recognizing that we have lost control and are tired, tries to fool us again and show us that this beauty that we see is imaginary, or circumstantial, or at least beginner’s luck. We smile and, this time, continue on our flight.”
We got used to thinking that…
A dream is not reality. It is the opposite of reality. It is an illusion, something that is separate, that doesn’t exist. It is a figment of our imagination.
The reality created: A dream is treated like something superfluous or scary. We believe that it should be ignored or pitied. And so we despise, negate or feel stupid about our dreams and fantasies or things that we cannot understand.
