Recommendation – How to read the words in the New Dictionary:
A word is a vessel through which essence, energy passes. The word is never the thing itself.
What is the real “thing”? It is good to answer this question in silence.
Therefore the invitation to this dictionary is “tricky”; it seems like it tries to replace one “definition” with another “definition” but it does not. This dictionary is an opportunity to look at a word from a different perspective than we are used to. And ask what is the essence of this word, coming from the mystery? From nature? From the inconceivable knowing that everything is one, everything is motion and I am a part of it?
From here you will find that the new “definition” sometimes sounds poetic or even irritating to the mind, because it cannot understand it. It’s OK. Let the words be a tool and listen to the energy that passes through them. That’s exactly what we came here to do.
Coming out of the knowing that everything is connected and everything is in motion:
Gratitude is acknowledging that when we move together with life and embrace it fully with open arms and ask to see the truth, wisdom and indescribable beauty are revealed to us. Our acknowledgement of these things is what turns them into the energy we live.
When we notice something, it occupies more space in in our lives. This is not a wish or intention, it is like that.

Gratitude consists of three dimensions:
The first dimension is that when have gratitude, it leads to more blessing in our daily lives. We focus our attention on abundance, the motion of life, beauty and wisdom, and they occupy a significant portion of our lives. We see them more and allow them to guide how we move about our day.
The second dimension is that gratitude reminds us that we ourselves are light. It awakens in us this memory that fills us with quiet, happiness, love and the knowledge that things are whole and complete, and we then magnetize exactly this from the world. When we find ourselves beside a person who is happy and experiencing abundance, our own natural happiness and recognition of abundance expand.
The third dimension is that in order to see good in every moment, we must release the rigid thoughts and scripts that we have fervently created for ourselves in order to see what is good and what is sustaining us in every situation and in every person. If we insist on clutching to our definitions and beliefs, we will not be able to see them in every minute or in every person because these definitions are humanity and are thus limited by nature. They say what is yes and what is not on the basis of opinion, but opinion is not truth. What is truly good is mysterious. It is not partial nor does it exist only in specific places: It is in everything and everything is in it.
The reality created: Is of being fully present. In order to see good, the one, the infinite light, we will need to allow ourselves to go deeper into the state of being and stop trying to create it ourselves.
We got used to thinking that
Gratitude is “acknowledging good”; seeing the positive sides also when things are bad.
Also, it is the satisfaction I feel when reality matches my expectations, aspirations, desires and hopes. It is an expression of the satisfaction I feel when my needs are met and my fears calmed.
I am satisfied when I manage to prevent something that I really didn’t want to happen or when I succeed in achieving something that I believe will bring me happiness and security. This feeling of satisfaction means that something good has occurred and I should acknowledge it.
The reality created: Life is lived on a basis of ups and downs, moving from misery to happiness, from fear to security. Since life doesn’t always do what the mind wants or thinks it needs, things will constantly be in flux and everything will feel temporary and very, very fragile.
