Love

Recommendation – How to read the words in the New Dictionary:

A word is a vessel through which essence, energy passes. The word is never the thing itself.

What is the real “thing”? It is good to answer this question in silence.

Therefore the invitation to this dictionary is “tricky”; it seems like it tries to replace one “definition” with another “definition” but it does not. This dictionary is an opportunity to look at a word from a different perspective than we are used to. And ask what is the essence of this word, coming from the mystery? From nature? From the inconceivable knowing that everything is one, everything is motion and I am a part of it?
From here you will find that the new “definition” sometimes sounds poetic or even irritating to the mind, because it cannot understand it. It’s OK. Let the words be a tool and listen to the energy that passes through them. That’s exactly what we came here to do.

Coming out of the knowing that everything is connected and everything is in motion:

Love is an encounter that allows me to see and know my true nature. What I truly am.

An encounter with another person who awakens music deep inside of me.

Someone who – in their specific way, exactly as they are – invites me to experience new places, sounds, and depths.

At times, it will feel strange.
At times, it will destabilize me.
At times, it will challenge everything that I think I know and believe
At times, it will sound off-tune.
At times, it will scare me.
At times, it will hurt terribly.

And at times, it will move my soul and body and heart – my entire being.
And at times, it will make me so joyful that I can hardly bear it

The reality created: When I understand that love is not a thing but rather my true nature and the nature of all that there is, I experience silence and a desire to get closer, to be influenced, to be swept away, to be undermined, to love and to say yes to life. Every movement, every action comes from wholeness and to there it returns. There isn’t anything else, really.

We got used to thinking that Love is

A mutual understanding.

A simultaneous motion.
A deep attention paid to one another.
An admiration of the other’s beauty, inner and outer.

An encounter we have been waiting for.

A unification that completes, saves, satisfies, opens and allows me to know that I am loved forever – just as I am.

Love allows us to trust.
To truly trust.

The reality is creates: we confuse Love with a Need, and then we use love as a tool to gain confidence, security, respect, trust, intimacy, etc. and then when someone “doesn’t provide” we conclude that we don’t need or want them anymore.
