News - in the eyes of What Really Is
What Really Is, is not an opinion or idea, neither a method nor an approach. It doesn’t need anyone or depends on anything. It is the knowledge or an expression of the nature of things, of how things are, when we’re not disturbing them.
In the realm of “News”, fear and the need to protect myself often come with its full intensity so this is actually a fascinating opportunity to refresh our current mind-mechanism and pay attention to the way we perceive what’s around us. And from there – to awaken.
Special Project - The New Journalism
An era is over. A collection of beliefs, conceptions and ways of thinking that have created for us a familiar reality, even if not simple, is no longer appropriate and even stumbling. One of the areas where the end is clear and fundamental is the press. This was led by the tenure of leaders who denied what was understood and agreed upon, sometimes crushed it in order to see anew and sometimes used lies and deception to weaken and take over.
The press, which was built on a certain order and logic found itself becoming a press on behalf of someone or playing with new rules of the game without proper tools. The old perceptions became a trap for itself and journalists found themselves the doers of dangerous and violent leaders.
What is the new journalism? What are the new understandings on which it will be based and what will be required of it?
