Screwed up

Recommendation – How to read the words in the New Dictionary:

A word is a vessel through which essence, energy passes. The word is never the thing itself.

What is the real “thing”? It is good to answer this question in silence.

Therefore the invitation to this dictionary is “tricky”; it seems like it tries to replace one “definition” with another “definition” but it does not. This dictionary is an opportunity to look at a word from a different perspective than we are used to. And ask what is the essence of this word, coming from the mystery? From nature? From the inconceivable knowing that everything is one, everything is motion and I am a part of it?
From here you will find that the new “definition” sometimes sounds poetic or even irritating to the mind, because it cannot understand it. It’s OK. Let the words be a tool and listen to the energy that passes through them. That’s exactly what we came here to do.

Coming out of the knowing that everything is connected and everything is in motion:

There is no such thing as being screwed up or screwing something up. There is only what is:  I am a living energy. I am constantly changing. I bring blessing no matter what happens. If I believe that I am lacking or not worthwhile, that something is wrong me or that I don’t “have what it takes”, then I allow this belief to shape my world and determine what will really happen. I will believe it and, through my belief in it, will convince the world that this is how I am and that I should be treated as such.

The truth is there is no measurement or line demarcating what is normal and what is not normal. If I mistakenly believe that such a definition exists, I will feel obligated to be in control. I will feel that I must remove from my world anything “undesirable”, dangerous or scary.

The reality created:  I can allow myself to be as I am. I can make mistakes. I can be confused. I can feel pain, learn, love, rediscover motion, change and develop.

“I think that I am screwed up.”

We got used to thinking that “screwed up” is

somebody who has been hurt, oppressed or has had something taken from him. Something that does not work right, that is ruined, messed up, bad or imperfect. The screwed-up person is not in control. His destiny lies in the hands of others. He believes that he can be hurt and is capable of hurting others. He believes that the world is dangerous.

The reality created:  The screwed-up person is miserable because he lives life with the belief that there is something wrong with him. He believes that it is impossible to change this fact and so he surrenders to the belief and perpetuates it further, causing suffering to himself and those around him.
