Excitement
Recommendation – How to read the words in the New Dictionary:
A word is a vessel through which essence, energy passes. The word is never the thing itself.
What is the real “thing”? It is good to answer this question in silence.
Therefore the invitation to this dictionary is “tricky”; it seems like it tries to replace one “definition” with another “definition” but it does not. This dictionary is an opportunity to look at a word from a different perspective than we are used to. And ask what is the essence of this word, coming from the mystery? From nature? From the inconceivable knowing that everything is one, everything is motion and I am a part of it?
From here you will find that the new “definition” sometimes sounds poetic or even irritating to the mind, because it cannot understand it. It’s OK. Let the words be a tool and listen to the energy that passes through them. That’s exactly what we came here to do.
Coming out of the knowing that everything is connected and everything is in motion:
The old definition of excitement can be confusing. It speaks in a language that is familiar to us: I am somebody, I am something, I have value in the world, there is a significant reason for my existence and therefore I am worthy.
In fact, all this happens by virtue of my very being and my existence in the world. Not because I did one thing or another, or because this happened or that. My essence is not dependent on any condition. I am not worth more or less because of any specific trait or occurrence.
When I am no longer confused, when I don’t believe in conditions and the idea that there is a “should” and “shouldn’t” guiding me and my actions, I can feel my nature and the nature of the world passing through me, taking me, reminding me what I am.
The reality created: When I know the difference between the “I” who has created the thoughts and limitations with which they perceive reality and the “I” who sees the truth, the nature of things, the vibration rises, the excitement grows, and I am home. This is an excitement that does not have ups and downs. It does not appear and then disappear. It is stable and flowing because it bears witness to life itself, to truth.
Excitement is a vibration of the divine source of truth. It passes through me and I let it create beauty, love and joy in both myself and the world.
We got used to seeing excitement as…
An energy that vibrates through the body. A motion of enthusiasm. I am excited when I achieve something, when I fulfill a task, when I meet a person I love, when I am nervous or am anticipating an encounter that will possibly cause something to happen, to change.
Excitements have a clear ending: The feeling rises, reaches a peak, and then begins to dissipate.
Things happen or events occur that cause me to think that I am somebody, that I am something, that my existence in this world has value, reason or meaning. I am worthy because of something.
The reality created: I become addicted to satisfying my needs. I live according to thoughts that I believe. I am sure that something terrible will happen if I don’t get what I think I need. I live in fear and this fear convinces me that I must achieve at all costs. My desires and needs intensify.
