Observation

Recommendation – How to read the words in the New Dictionary:

A word is a vessel through which essence, energy passes. The word is never the thing itself.

What is the real “thing”? It is good to answer this question in silence.

Therefore the invitation to this dictionary is “tricky”; it seems like it tries to replace one “definition” with another “definition” but it does not. This dictionary is an opportunity to look at a word from a different perspective than we are used to. And ask what is the essence of this word, coming from the mystery? From nature? From the inconceivable knowing that everything is one, everything is motion and I am a part of it?
From here you will find that the new “definition” sometimes sounds poetic or even irritating to the mind, because it cannot understand it. It’s OK. Let the words be a tool and listen to the energy that passes through them. That’s exactly what we came here to do.

Coming out of the knowing that everything is connected and everything is in motion:

Observation is an act of witnessing. It knows the true nature of the self – that it is an infinite wellspring of living energy, and not an object or a set of plans; that it is an abundant mystery overflowing with love, and not a ready-made product or something that can be completely understood.

The reality created: Through observation, we can look directly at the story being told, at the film being projected about us, and learn that a person is not “his story”. We, as living energies, simply observe the story that has been created by the thinking and interpreting mind and know that we are not that image. When we observe as witnesses and do not attempt to intervene or influence, we are able to distinguish between a person as he or she truly is and the sketch of a person that has been created by the mind. From this simple observation, we can get closer to our nature. Friction, costs and fear will disappear, and simplicity and beauty will take their place.

“To be me, fully alive and witnessing – seeing and bringing the wisdom of the soul.”

We got used to thinking that

observation is the point to interpret things. I wish to understand things so that I can remove them from a state of uncertainty. My goal is to be in control. Through observation I understand how things work. I accomplish matters with the help of this knowledge and use anything necessary to accomplish results. According to the old understanding, if I don’t control, “they” will control me, take from me and hurt me. If I don’t protect what is mine, I will be left with nothing.

The reality created: We observe in order to understand our situation, to familiarize ourselves with the hierarchy of power and accompanying interests, and to tell people what to do and how to act. This is what allows us to prevent evil and aim for what is good and desirable. Observation is not meant to be creative but rather militant and driven by interests.
